About us:
Ultimate Sports Center opens its doors for business January 15, 2010! We are the largest (80,000 sf), non-affiliated, all sports facility in Central Ohio. The facility will have 14 full size OVR sanctioned tournament volleyball courts, 1 regulation high-school Basketball court, 4 regulation Futsal courts, a batting cage, turf area, speed/agility training, weights, group fitness area, full snack bar, Wi-FI, homework room, sports store and quality rentable office space. We are no more than 15 minutes from anywhere on the I-270 loop.
We will open with 5 Junior Olympic Volleyball Clubs practicing on 8 courts, Adult Volleyball Leagues on 2 dedicated courts all year long, Adult Dodgeball Leagues (2 nights a week), Futsal Leagues, and Special Events.
We are offering a reasonably priced competitive environment for coaches and athletes, to train and compete in their skill area. We are a 501 (3)(c), non profit organization, therefore, we are keeping the rates low to allow youth sports organizations to have less overhead and offer a premier product at an affordable price to the athletes and their parents. This allows serious and beginning athletes a safe environment to grow and improve their skills in their chosen field.
One stop shop- Get all your athletic needs met in one location. A family can come to one location and all have fun; ie daughter to volleyball practice, son to futsal, dad to volleyball match, mom time for cardio on fitness equipment, and mom/dad massage after workout, while the kids do speed/agility training. Picture that! All under one roof!

JANUARY 16TH, 2010-opened!!
-June 13- 30 team Girls Pre-Nationals Tournament held at Ultimate
June 11- Club Banners put up on the Wall
-June 10- 3 more divider nets put up between new courts
-June 5- Jamz Sports novelty Volleyball up and running and accepting Credit Cards. Painting of entryway complete and molding installed.
-June 4- Ist 20 person Birthday Party held at Ultimate! Kids played Basketball, Volleyball, Dodgeball, Capture the Flag, video games, Dunk Contest on 7' rim and yes, ice cream, Love the Choco Tacos! What a good time, lets Celebrate!
-June 2- First Jrs Beach Volleyball practice in Central Ohio! 2 more courts arrive at Ultimate, Now up to 12 courts! Definately the largest facility in the south Half of the the State of Ohio!
-May 16th and 21st- Custom coaches boxes arrive for use at Ultimate
-May 16th- Steven Hinds elected AAU Ohio District Boys/Girls/Adults Indoor/Outdoor Volleyball Director!
-May 10th- Ultimate ads appear in the City Scene Magazines- Upper Arlington and Dublin
-May 7th- First inventory arrives at Ultimate for the Volleyball Novelty store!
-May 6th- The VolleyPark and Ultimate partner up to hold 4 Juniors Beach Tournaments this Summer and help run some adult doubles leagues and tournaments
-May 3rd- Zenith Volleyball Academy gets Logo:
-Mar. 25- 2 New Court courts arrive (That makes 10 courts for those of you counting and gossiping!)
Serve-a-Thon and raise over $3000.
-May 1&2- Ultimate Staff work first promo event, Columbus Parent Weekend at the Columbus Zoo. Staff handed out thousands of Ultimate Water Bottles, Magnets, fliers and collected as many emails. Look for us at an event near you soon!
-April 23- First VolleyKids Tournament in 2 Divisions: 1st-3rd Graders and 4th-6th Graders. 13 Teams participated! Tournament Champions: 1st-3rd Grade- Mini-Masters Crickets, 4-6th Grade- Mini-Masters Grasshoppers
-April 18- Booked our first Birthday party for May!
-April 6- 2nd water fountain arrives at Ultimate
-April 2- First print advertisement in The Other Paper
-April 1- First ever Basketball practice, first time all 10 courts rented at same time, enters into agreement with Velvet Ice Cream and will offer 15 of your favorite ice cream choices at Ultimate
-Mar. 30- Ultimate partners with Central Ohio Boys Basketball Association and Central Ohio AAU Basketball Club to become their home facility to use for practices, camps, clinics, private lessons, etc.
-Mar. 27- Elevation Series Championships held at Ultimate with after party and music following play (lots of fun); New courts used, new menu items unveiled: large pretzels, shredded chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, bratwurst and Rock Star/Venom energy drinks
-Mar. 26- 2 new courts installed

-Feb. 25- ADA access Bathroom complete, ADA ramp begins construction, Fitness wall nears completion
-Feb. 22- special events map complete (go to facility rental to see)
-Feb. 17- 11 teams practice at one time in Ultimate ( new record), handicap bathroom begins construction
-Feb. 16th- 3 brand new heaters installed in gym, display cases for store arrive
-Feb. 11th- Enter 1 year partnership with 5/3 Bank, paid our first employees
-Feb. 10th- First Mens adult league matches
-Feb. 9th- first snow day closing
-Feb. 8th- Counter top put underneath viewing window of snack bar/banquet room
-Feb. 7th- (Pics to left on adult vball tourney) Second day of Air City Tournament. 25 teams compete on 6 courts. snack bar adds Hot Subs to menu, big hit!
-Feb. 6th- First Tournament held at Ultimate! 31 teams compete on 7 courts and brave Level I/II Snow Emergencies to play in Air City Tournament. Play started 2 hours late due to weather. Snack bar open
-Feb. 5th- Ultimate SC and Donato's Pizza enter into 5 year Partnership, Food vending machines arrive, directional signs put up in Ultimate and outside directing people to,
-Feb. 4th- First Adult League Matches held at Ultimate

-Jan. 28th- Open gym huge success! 25 adult players attend, and play on two courts. Players decide they want to keep the open gym on every Friday night.

-Jan. 26- First Futsal/Soccer practices held, 100' vinyl curtain installed in back of facility, new exit lighting installed, parking lot lights turned on (so powerful the neighbors asked they be turned off during the late night hours)
-Jan. 25- Floor prep began for tile in banquet room, 3 more courts laid down (now total of 7), electricians fix entry lights and parking lot lights
-Jan. 23-29th planned improvements, Back wall and doors painted, Mezzanine window/bar installed, tile installed banquet room and hallways, 4 more courts up (total to 8), First soccer practices start, signage up, snack bar open, tv/projector installed in banquet room
-Jan. 22nd, first open gym, court divider nets, I beam Pads, Vinyl screen installed, and floor courts professionally cleaned, and carpet runners placed to ensure clean playing surface
